Romans Point Sea Caves Kayak Tour

$88.00

Five sea caves and a sandstone arch on the unspoiled west side of the Bayfield Peninsula. Four miles, two hours, small groups, dramatic scenery.

Description

Romans Point delivers Apostle Islands sea cave scenery for paddlers who want the dramatic west side coast without the crowds. Tucked away near Herbster, Wisconsin, this stretch of shoreline offers five sea caves and a freestanding sandstone arch, all approached over more open water than the protected east side routes.

We keep groups deliberately small here. Six paddlers per tour is our cap, with a four paddler minimum to launch. The intimate group size matches the more committing conditions and gives you more time inside each cave for photos and exploration. The arch in particular is a highlight: a natural stone bridge wide enough to paddle directly under, with water depth changing color through the chamber as light filters down from above.
